Italian football legend, World Cup winner and marquee player of the Delhi Dynamos Club - ISL, Alessandro Del Piero has visited Mumbai to promote Australian Merino wool as a high-tech sports activewear fibre in India. Recently signed as the brand ambassador for The Woolmark Company’s Merino Wool, No Finer FeelingTM global fibre advocacy campaign, Alessandro Del Piero visited the Shoppers Stop store in Juhu, dressed in a lightweight Merino wool shirt by Raymond Ltd. A series of conversations around football, Australian Merino wool, and meeting his fans kept him excited about his visit.
“I really feel excited to be in Mumbai as I have got a chance to meet all my fans who live here. I must say people here are football fanatics and have a great knowledge,” said Del Piero.

The Woolmark Company recently concluded the consumer campaign in collaboration with Shoppers Stop, India’s leading fashion retailer, in order to promote wool and woollen apparel across select Shoppers Stop stores in India.
