The Interior Textiles Division of The Woolmark Company specialises in building demand for the Australian wool fibre through the development and marketing of Woolmark and Woolmark Blend superior interior textile products.

Throughout decades of research, development and marketing we have taken Australian wool to its rightful place as one of the world’s most versatile, practical and best-loved natural fibres - a fibre that is unparalleled when manufactured into affordable, sophisticated products with high performance qualities. Wool fabric will stand up to years of everyday wear and tear, making it the perfect choice for interior products including upholstery, carpets, floor coverings, curtains as well as sleepwear, blankets, cushions and throws.

“Across the years interiors designers, decorators and architects have utilised wool in varying capacities in both public and private spaces,” says The Woolmark Company Chief Marketing and Global Strategy Officer Rob Langtry. “Aside of championing the fibre’s natural benefits, interior architects are constantly discovering the health and safety attributes provided by this fibre.

“Years of scientific research has linked wool with healthy sleep cycles. Research shows that if you sleep on and under wool then you have more total sleep time, you fall asleep faster and you have more of the all-important deep sleep.”
