Weekly Wool Prices

Week Ending 07 August (Week 6)

7 August 2015

Wool auction sales resumed this week in Australia following a three week recess. A good volume of just over 41,000 bales was put before the trade in all three selling centres and stiff competition was evident from the outset. The strength of buying throughout the week on all types and descriptions saw a 3% or 37ac/clean kg rise in the EMI (Eastern Market Indicator), which concluded the week at 1258 ac/clean kg.
