Weekly Wool Prices

Week Ending 17 June (Week 51)

17 June 2016

Australian wool auction markets fared much better this week, particularly in the Merino section which saw price gains across the offering. On the other hand, Crossbreds and Cardings were met with resistance and fell away a few cents. The EMI (Eastern market indicator) progressed upwards by 9 ac per clean kg to finish the week at a level of 1279 ac per clean kg. When expressed in USD the EMI traded around similar levels but still fell away 3 usc to 945 usc.
