Weekly Wool Prices

Week Ending 22 April (Week 43)

22 April 2016

The widely expected tough conditions hit Australian wool auction markets this week, with retractions in prices across the whole type spectrum. All wool descriptions were affected to varying degrees, but a general 20 to 30ac/clean kg was eliminated from the prevailing levels. The EMI (Eastern Market Indicator) weakened by 1.9% or 24ac/ clean kg to close the week at 1217ac/clean kg.
