Weekly Wool Prices

Week Ending 23 September (Week 12)

23 September 2016

Australian wool auction sale results were again radically affected primarily by the erratic Australian dollar (AUD) exchange rates against the major traded currencies. This movement not only placed severe downward pressure on AUD prices received locally, but also played havoc with the sentiment of our buyers which until this week had remained relatively upbeat about the wool markets short to medium term prospects.
